Ellie hamill (she/her)

CONSULTANT

Ellie joined dandolo as a recent graduate, with a background in education, health, arts, and not-for-profits. She has strong communication skills and enjoys finding creative solutions to challenging problems. Before joining dandolo Ellie gained professional experience as a secondary teacher in Victorian high schools in a variety of socio-economic contexts teaching students with diverse needs and abilities. Ellie was drawn to working in education after her experience working as a Brand Ambassador at Teach for Australia, a not-for-profit organisation aiming to address educational inequity. She also has experienced working at a grass-roots level in arts and health organisations including Arts Centre Melbourne and Royal Melbourne Hospital.  

Ellie holds a Bachelor of Science (Physiology), a Graduate Certificate in Arts (English and Theatre Studies) and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) all from the University of Melbourne. During university Ellie worked at the University of Melbourne Student Union at the Creative Arts Officer and Artistic Director of the MUDFEST, a student run interdisciplinary arts festival, was Arts Manager at Queen’s College and volunteered for Midsumma Festival, Melbourne Fringe and Perth International Arts Festival.
