Lucy Barker

Lucy joined dandolo as a recent graduate, with a background in allied health, community sport, and not-for-profits. Prior to joining dandolo Lucy worked in administration in orchestral management. With an appreciation for the arts and a background in music, Lucy was incredibly proud to play a part of the production of orchestral, opera and ballet performances. With a passion for grass-roots sport, Lucy has over a decade of experience volunteering, including on committees running both netball and sailing organisations and most recently coordinated the allocation, development and administration of umpiring at a local netball association. This broad background has given Lucy excellent skills in building relationships across diverse individuals and stakeholders.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from Deakin University. At university Lucy worked on a qualitative project examining the complex life balance of mothers who volunteer in their children’s grass-roots netball club, involving an investigation into netball’s gendered nature, motherhood and theories around feminised volunteer work.
