Michelle is a research specialist with experience in experimental and applied research, survey design and statistical analysis. She enjoys using data in meaningful ways to deliver insightful findings and support policy development. Michelle has a background in social, organisational and applied psychology, with particular expertise in gender equality and diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining dandolo, she was an associate lecturer at the University of Melbourne and a research fellow at the Centre for Ethical Leadership.

Influential work:

  • Identifying a range of future options to support and improve two longitudinal studies operated by a government department

  • Developing a capability framework for early childhood teachers to identify opportunities to support graduates transitioning into the workforce

  • Managed an evaluation of workplace recruitment practices in to improve diversity in hiring in partnership with the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet

  • Evaluated the effectiveness of an inclusive leadership program across five medical research institutes

Michelle completed her PhD in 2019, and holds a combined Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Music, both from the University of Melbourne.
