The role we’re recruiting for

We’re looking for an Office Manager / Executive Assistant (EA) to join our Melbourne based team. They will:
• Conduct general office support such as answering phones, and scheduling meetings / stakeholder consultations
• Manage office needs e.g. ordering supplies, catering, liaising with IT support, suppliers and other service providers
• Maintain office environment e.g. prepare boardroom for meetings, keep office neat and tidy
• Support Director Bronte Adams in an EA capacity
• Manage invoices, expenses, petty cash and liaise with bookkeeper and accountant
• Format and proof documents for MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Drafting emails to our clients and other contacts
• Complete basic research functions (mostly internet-based) on a needs basis
• Provide other ad hoc support to team members, for example assembling elements of proposals to clients

In this role you will work closely with highly experienced consultants every day. For the right person, there are opportunities to gain consulting experience by:
• Interviewing stakeholders for projects
• Attending client meetings
• Conducting in-depth desk research and analysis

• Can manage and prioritise a combination of big and small tasks
• Can think their way through a wide range of new and different tasks
• Show discretion and judgement in dealing with sensitive information

We also have a strong preference for candidates who have an interest in, or a desire to work in, public policy and consulting. Previous experience working in a professional environment is also strongly preferred. 

This position is available from mid-July (negotiable). Recruitment process will begin late-April. Salary range $38,000 - $48,000 subject to experience.
